Soul Mates
Now there’s a topic!
Do you believe in soul mates? You know, in that magical person that you simply just click with, share an incredible compassion, understanding an unexplicable explosive emotions? Well, I do. And that doesn’t make me a cliché. No, it makes me awesome.
I grew up in a world where one meets his or her soul mate and ends up marrying them. Then, of course, they live happily ever after. I was about 18 when I already started to lose patience and that’s …just sad.
Bizzarely, I was lucky enought to meet my soul mate. Obviously, I also failed to keep him.
See, the difference between soul mates and others is that those suckers can actually break your heart while mere mortals only manage to bend it. But, as you know by now, time is the super glue that puts things back into perspective. This magic glue that I have been sniffing also helped me realise that the best part of soul mates is that we can have more than one.
Besides – as life changing as they may be – they are also very overrated.
Nevertheless, they are a knife with two sharp edges…and you know what they say- The first cut is the deepest.
…. but when looking in the future the cuts always heal and the glass is always full if you choose it to be ;)
